Campaign Financing

What's the Concern

How can I feel good about our political system when it has to be unfair that people and groups with money have greater access to our representatives than I do?

How can a political party or a candidate not pay attention to the individuals and groups who give them large amounts of money that made it possible for them to campaign?

Is there a way to keep campaigns from being so expensive, even though we know that the way to reach 284 million Americans is through advertising? Should the networks and cable stations charge very high prices even for short spot ads?

Even with campaign finance reform, people with great personal wealth have an unfair advantage over those of us who must rely on fund-raising. Is there a way to let regular people run a competitive race against rich ones?

If I send money, am I just helping a bad system? If I don’t send money, can I complain about the results? How can I be heard?
