Imagine with us what a difference we can make. Women, as a group, do not speak up with a public voice but we are going to change that.

First, you’ll hear your own voice, then your best friend’s. Next it will be the voice of someone who didn’t even know she had one. With WomenMatter.com at your side, you are going help someone vote, someone who wouldn’t have otherwise.

Women matter most when we make ourselves heard. We need to talk to each other, exchange views and ideas, and then act together.

You don’t have to change your life, and you certainly don’t have to take on the dinner table, but just imagine what our government, our communities, would look like if the 36 million American women who don’t vote did.

You’ve already taken the first step by contacting us. You can take the second step today. Make a list of 5 girlfriends, (or sisters or co-workers), and then email them. Tell them that after they manage their day, they can help manage the nation and send them to WomenMatter.com so that they can begin to learn how easy it will be.

We are so excited to have you onboard. You are a WomenMatter pioneer. Over the next months, we are going to work together to make your club a vibrant, exciting place where all questions are welcome and most answers are just a click away.

Once you’ve put together your list, please email us. We’ll make a plan for your WomenMatter Club, including an agenda for your first meeting (we can even help you draft that first email.) Keep your eye out for email from us, as we continue to develop support materials and activities for WomenMatter Clubs.

All the candidates will tell you they’re for motherhood and apple pie but we need to know the specifics. That’s where WomenMatter comes in. We are not in support of any particular party or candidate but in support of women being heard by all parties and all candidates. Be sure to review the WomenMatter Guiding Principle as you find candidates and causes to support.
